Farakh Masood is a seasoned professional with over 28 years of experience in global B2B sales, service, engineering, and law. As the founder of True Green Energy Group (TGE), he recognized the need for a consultancy to guide the primary industry in its transition to a sustainable, circular economy. 

 

An alumnus of Camborne School of Mines, University of Leeds, Leeds University Business School, and Manchester Metropolitan University, Farakh has a diverse background in engineering, mining, and global exporting. He serves as the 100th Leader in Residence at Leeds University Business School, mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators in green energy, particularly geothermal energy. 

A strong advocate for “Just Transition” and sustainable business practices, Farakh has received the Wardle Armstrong Prize and SME Magazine’s Most Pioneering Energy Solutions MD award. He is also actively involved in the University of Leeds’ geothermal energy project aimed at reducing its carbon footprint.

Samakshi Singh

Partnership Development Strategist

Samakshi Singh is TGE’s Partnership Development Strategist, dedicated to scaling our company by identifying the right partners and opportunities. Her role is pivotal in advancing the agenda of a just transition for all, ensuring that sustainability and equity are at the forefront of our growth strategy. With a keen eye for strategic alliances and a passion for impactful change, Samakshi helps TGE navigate the complex landscape of ESG and sustainability, fostering collaborations that drive meaningful progress.

Matthew Fishwick

Senior Environmental Consultant

Matthew Fishwick is our Senior Environmental Consultant, an environmental chemist with deep technical expertise in life cycle assessment (LCA), environmental product declarations, and product, organisational, and supply chain environmental footprinting. With over 15 years of project experience across sectors such as chemicals, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, construction, and food, Matthew has worked with renowned clients including eBay, 3M, Honeywell, Lonza, BP, The American Petroleum Institute, AkerBP, E.ON, GSK, Johnson & Johnson, GLP, and PepsiCo.

Matthew has also provided technical consultation for the development of standards like PAS 2050 and GHG Protocol, and contributed to writing the guidance for PAS 2050. He holds PhD, MRes, MSc, and BSc degrees in environmental chemistry and is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC). As an approved EPD verifier for IBU and International EPD, Matthew offers unparalleled expertise in environmental accounting services.

Chloe McCloskey

Sustainability consultant

Chloe McCloskey is a seasoned Sustainability Consultant with over 8 years of experience, dedicated to making the world more sustainable, ethical, and fair. Her expertise spans GHG inventories, carbon footprinting, life cycle assessments, supply chain risk assessments, science-based targets, and materiality assessments. Chloe excels in developing bespoke sustainability program software tools tailored to client needs.
Having worked with large corporates, Chloe has honed her skills in data analysis, project delivery, technical research, project management, delivering training, strategic reviews, and stakeholder communication. She leverages her pragmatic and problem-solving abilities to deliver tangible environmental and societal benefits, guiding companies towards their sustainability goals with precision and passion.
